FOCUS ON OUTCOMES

The Science

By 2039, people of color will be the majority of the US workforce. Yet the large majority of managers and executives will still be white men.

Fully equitable companies outperform their peers in profitability, resilience, and shareholder value. As a result, Diversity & Inclusion is now on board-level agendas, and efforts are embedded throughout many organizations, with an annual budget > $8 billion. Yet these efforts have, on average, improved leadership diversity by just 1% per year.

Diversity is inevitable. Equity is not.

Our approach is based on three guiding questions.

1

What manager behaviours have the biggest career impacts?

2

What strategies for mitigating bias have been scientifically validated?

3

What daily opportunities exist to practice new habits within the workplace?
